Furlough Go

To ensure their sustainability many charities have had to furlough skilled and experienced staff meaning they are not able to do any work for their employer. We understand that many of these staff would like to quickly find opportunities elsewhere to support other charities potentially struggling, both in responding to the current crisis, and in ensuring their own success and sustainability. Furlough Go has been set up to enable charities and community groups to connect with and involve these skilled and experienced furloughed staff as volunteers.

How will it work?

We’re building a network of Furloughed charity staff, who want to support other organisations at this challenging time. We are working with the voluntary and community sector, as well as adult social care, public health and the NHS to support and mobilise volunteers to where there is the greatest need.

What will happen next?

Along with our voluntary sector partners, we will use this information to coordinate your offers of support. Please bear with us whilst we signpost and match your interest to where you can make the most difference

I agree to share my data with Furlough Go and for them to pass that on to registered charities in the UK to help me find volunteering opportunities that best match my skills.

How does this work for local organisations?

Time to Spare allows local charities, CICs and Local Government to coordinate their use of volunteers. If you're a local organisation that wants access to a pool of volunteers, and the tools to manage them, sign up for a Time to Spare account.
